Subscription passthrough uses the provider account you already pay for when that provider permits the flow. Picasso shows the active mode so you know whether inference is managed, subscription-backed, API-key billed, or local.

What changes.
The main change is the billing and account path. The terminal workflow, memory, sessions, plans, and tools remain Picasso.

Provider credentials stay in your OS keychain where the provider flow supports it. Picasso does not pool, resell, or share provider subscriptions across users.

Subscription passthrough is per user and per provider. If the provider account stops allowing access, Picasso pauses and asks you to choose another route.

You can move between managed, subscription, API-key, and local modes without changing how plans, memory, sessions, goals, and replay work.
